Fai†hfully Preparing my Fields for the Rain

:: Getting old... ::

I realise that I somehow function like a preprogram autobot... I must,
I say again, I MUST plan my day else I'll be wasting my time playing game or end up doing some non-productive stuff.

But I also realised today that if I do plan my day, my body will automatically go do them while my mind thinks about other stuffs... like so robot sia...

Btw, I'm still in denial of me being 22, I still think I'm 19. But ever since after JCC, my hands have been telling me otherwise, everytime I move my fingers I can no longer feel it smoothly moving but instead I could feel the thick layers of skin being stretched telling me "You're Old..."

:: Back from Brunei.. ::

After 40 days Daniel's fast immediately followed by 27 days in Brunei inclusive of 9 days in the hands of the dreaded rainforest of Temburong, I have learnt much...

Especially through the 9 harsh days of jungle conditioning.. Other than the fact that the storm came for all 9 days, climbing from knoll to mountains, ridgeline to spurs, contours to ravines, crossing rivers, floods and muds, countless times of falling down, getting cut, bitten and stung...

I realised these 9 days reflected alot on life..

How many times have come across different yet similar paths to take?
How many times we try to take a shortcut ignoring the path already made for us?
How many times we make mistakes with the paths we chose and had to take a step back?
How many times we had to take a detour due to unexpected circumstances?

How tiring and difficult it is to climb up.. and how risky and fast it is to climb down..
How demoralising to know that after so much, we actually just moved so little..
How painful it is when we fall, we whine and complain but people just continue moving on..
How frustrating it is when we know we are so near but we just can't get it..
How desperate we become when time is short and we try to take the shortest route out only to end up in a bigger mess..
How completely stumped we finally come to a mess so big we really don't know what to do..

like now... I think I've become jungle man..
