Quote: The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction;
the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people,
especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:8-10

:: Relationship Issue... Tree or Flower? ::
Hi blog, did I give u a name? I 4got but nvm, blog is a good name.
Anyway, was talking to me brothers about relationships issues, gets emo when I touch this subject cos I'll remember I'm alone. God says it's not good for man to be alone, I always believe that that is true and not that I'm not doing anything about it but it's just not time yet. Since it's not time yet, I'll keep myself busy, cos when I'm busy I won't have time to think about this depressing subject for most ppl I know. It's actually a very interesting subject to talk about, but usually it will end up with a sigh... Dunno why or what it means, but the sigh will just come out. So ya, keep busy until the right time.
But when is the right time?
This subject always remind me of the story of plato asking about love. I put it in my blog like 4 years ago, here.
There's still a continuation of the story that I didn't put it in but I'll put it in next year after I change my blog skin. It's a good story.
So as I was saying, when is the right time?
I feel that the right time is different for everyone, so there isn't a definite answer, but more importantly is what are we doing while waiting?
Here's what I feel, we are all just saplings...
...growing bit by bit, day and night, through rain or shine, sometimes it hurts when it rains but we must also know it's good for us. We grow mainly becos of the rain.
There are also times when there is no rain and only sun. We become happy at first when the rain ended but after quite some time, the rain didn't come and it gets really dry and becomes really difficult too. This is when we are put to the test of perseverance. A test of time. No rain, no nothing. Just the same sun.
Then when we survived it, we start to grow into something more interesting. More visible to others. Question is, what are we growing into?
The short-lived, beautiful and fragile flower that everybody loves, admires and adore?
Or the plain boring looking tree that can withstand the hands of time, rain or shine, can be use for many purposes, and more importantly a tree to 'kao' on.
Is it a coincident that the teacher in the story of plato use a tree for illustrating marriage while love, lust and happiness wasn't?
So when is the right time?
For me, I believe God is still preparing my other half, but more importantly, God is preparing me, putting me time and time again from seasons to seasons, through the thickest storms, the longest droughts, pushing and pulling my roots into the hardest grounds painfully but slowly and surely, so I can grow into that big ugly tree with a strong foundation to support and can provide a shelter from the rain, and a shade from the sun for not just her, but all my loved ones.
Here's a song to all my readers, and to God...
Lord, I wanna say thank you for the sun, Lord, we thank you for the rain.
